Powers & Functions of the Office Bearers :
Any person which believes in the acts of service of society can be a member of the society on the recommendation of governing body. There will be 2 types of members
A. President :
The president will preside over all the meetings of the society as well as of the Governing Body. In his absence, the Vice President will preside over the meeting. If he is also not present, any one of the founder members by common consent can preside over the meeting.
B. Vice President :
He will discharge the duties of the President in the absence of the president.
C. Powers & Functions of the Manager:
With consent of Governing Body or the members appointed by Governing Body i) He/She will function as the Chief Executive Officer of the society. ii) He/She will exercise supervision and control over the staff of the society and shall be empowered to take disciplinary action against them, whenever needed. iii) He/She will have power to operate bank accounts, to draw, accept or endorse or discount cheques and other negotiable instruments.
D. Secretary:
The secretary shall keep the records of the society and of the Governing Body and prepare agenda notes for the meetings in consultation with the President. He shall prepare a budget in the beginning of every year and place it before the Governing Body the whole budget would be placed at the disposal of the Manager without further reference to the Governing Body.
The Secretary shall conduct the affairs of the society within the provisions of the rules under the directions of the president.
The Secretary shall receive all correspondence addressed to the society and write and signed letters, documents and other papers on behalf of the society.
2. Profits:
Trust will work as Non Profitable institution so if they have excess income, trust will expend it in social activities.
3. Sources of Income:
The source of income will be fees of all kinds from the students, grant-in-aid from the government, donations and endowments from the public and subscription etc. it also include the income from the immovable property of the society.
4. Funds
The funds of the society will consist of the following:
i) Subscription of the members.
ii) Donation and Grants
iii) Any other source which the governing body may approve.
Note: The outgoing office bearers shall automatically cease to operate on the accounts in the bank after election or removal under clause of
the constitutions. The new office bearer shall be notified to the bank by the new secretary under proper seal of the Governing Body immediately,
if a change has taken place.
5. Legal Matters:
The trust may sue or be sued in its name through the President/Secretary/or any member of Governing Body appointed for their purpose.
6. Addition/Subs tractions in constitution:
The president can make any addition in the constitution when he feels necessary that the required clause is not mentioned in the constitution he can call emergency meeting of this purpose. The addition can only be made by the 2/3 members of the General Body.
7. Amendments in Constitution:
The president can make any amendment in any clause of the constitution. For the amendments in the constitution one week notice will be issued by the Governing Body under the signature of the president to every member of the society and should be passed by the 2/3 majority of the members present and vote in the meeting.
8. Dissolution of the Society:
The society can be dissolved only by the 2/3 majority of the members of the society. For the dissolution of the society one week notice should be given by the Governing Body to all the members of the society. In the case of dissolution of the society all the assets of the society will be handed over the society existing at the time whose aims and objects will be similar to this society.
